PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs)

  1. Graduates will be able to pursue successful professional career in Mechanical Engineering with sound technical and managerial capabilities.
  2. Graduates will have skills and knowledge to formulate, analyze and solve problems in mechanical engineering to meet global challenges.
  3. Graduates will be capable of pursuing mechanical engineering profession with good communication skills, leadership qualities, team spirit and professional ethics to meet the needs of the society.
  4. Graduates will sustain an appetite for continuous learning by pursuing higher education and research in the allied areas of science and technology.

 

PROGRAM OUTCOMES (POs)

PO 1: Engineering Knowledge: Apply basic knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering principles to solve technical problems.
PO 2: Problem Analysis: Design and analyze a system component, or process to meet desired needs in Mechanical Engineering.
PO 3: Design/Development of Solutions: Design a system and conduct experiments to find suitable solution in the field of mechanical engineering. 
PO 4: Conduct Investigations of Complex Problems: Identify, visualize, formulate and solve engineering problems in the field of mechanical Engineering.
PO5: Modern Tool Usage: Use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice with appropriate considerations for societal, and environmental constraints.
PO 6: The Engineer and Society: Apply their fundamental field skills towards the understanding of the impact of engineering solutions on the society in a global and social context.
PO 7: Environment and Sustainability: Understand the Impart knowledge of contemporary issues about society and environment.
PO 8: Ethics: Apply ethical principles and responsibilities during professional practice. 
PO 9: Individual and Team Work: Function on multi disciplinary teams as a team member/leader and create user friendly environment.
PO 10: Communication: Communicate effectively in oral, written, visual and graphic modes within interpersonal, team, and group environments.
PO 11: Project Management and Finance: Apply the techniques, skills and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering projects.
PO 12: Life-long Learning: Recognize the need for professional advancement by engaging in lifelong learning.

PSO 1: Graduates will acquire theoretical and practical background of each course which they are capable of applying it for solving real-time (Physical) problems.
PSO 2: Graduates will acquire the knowledge of different technical tools which will enhance their technical and managerial skill.
