Dr.Kookutla Ramesh is a Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, Sree Dattha Institute of Engineering and Science, Sheriguda(V), Hyderabad. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree (Civil Engineering) from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur in the year 1989. He did his Master’s degree in the specialization of Structural Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli in the year 1991. He was awarded his PhD from National Institute of Technology, Warangal in the area of Hybrid Ferro Fiber concrete under axial compression and its application in Flexure  in the year 2004. His area of interest is Confined concrete. He has more than Thirty Three years of experience in teaching.  He had a total administrative academic experience of 20 years in many Reputed institutions i.e., KL University, KITSW, LBRCE, SVIET in the positions as head, Director and dean positions. He has published papers more than 60+ in reputed International and National Journals indexed in SCI, SCOPUS etc., and also presented papers in National and International conferences. He has published two books. He received one granted Patent and three more Patents were Published. He received grants from various non- governmental organisations and completed five research Projects. Under his guidance One student was awarded PhD and five more faculty are pursuing Phd under his guidance. He is the Member in ISTE, FIE, ICFRC, InSc, ICI and ACCE(I). He has organized more programmes as a  Co-ordinator and attended more conferences, seminars, workshops, STTPs, SDPs, etc. he was recipient of Dr.Abdul Kalam Life time Achievement national Award from International Institute for Social and Economic reforms®, Bangalore, Adarsh Vidya Saraswati Rashtriya Puraskar” and One of the Best Teacher Award - National Award from Global management Council, HOD of the Year Award 2019 from Institute of Scholars, Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Advisor Award from Amaravathi Research Academy. He has received Best teacher Gold medal award four consecutive years from KL College of Engineering during 2003-2007. He served as technical Expert member in the selection Committees of Andhra Pradesh Service Commission. He was technical Expert member in Singapore Township Project, Mangalagiri. He has offered Structural building Design Consultancy to many apartment Buildings at Vijayawada.
